I love playing the individual stock game--it's exciting---I have some winners some home runs --some just down right ugly --I have no thoughts on your 2 individual stocks
Individual stocks IMO need to be traded --SO bought and sold "easy to buy when to sell not so easy"

I keep only fun money in individual stocks OR playing the grain markets

wanting to make money ---Mutual funds are easy, NOT sexy just put in money and don't think about it
Let the experts worry about making money
Don't go to Edward Jones a high cost company "high buy in high yearly fees" --do it your self

Vanguard a low fees company I like VANGUARD GROWTH INDEX ADMIRAL VIGAX Up 32% over 3 years 15% over 5 and 17% over 10
FIDELITY SELECT SEMICONDUCTORS FSELX Up 54% over 3 years 30% 5 year and 30% over 10 years
I absolutely have loved FSELX ---may be running thin BUT WTF 30% is hard to argue with

There are other great Mutuals " I'm sure Some one else will chime in with good advice" AND yes I've owned both mutuals listed above 10 years+

Past results don't guarantee future results BUT past results better indicator of making $ than anything else I can imagine

Good luck Happy Easter

Dan

Mutual funds were basically the only way I could invest because I had no money. Very glad both my wife and I were able to contribute for the past 40 years. Some bad years but very few. Some unbelievable years. Very surprised in your advice you didn't mention a Roth. Anybody thinking about investing (especially a young person), should do this first.
