 East of Broken Bow | Probably less. Been so dry here, afraid to contract too much ahead, plus prices weren't encouraging me to do so either. Some years ago, I contracted some corn during a period of low prices thinking I better get what I could. It was a dry year, and I didn't raise enough to fill my contracts, and had to buy a little corn at 30 cents over contract price to fill it. Thank goodness it wasn't very much. Now with the war going on, that just adds more uncertainty. | |
