Roseglen, North Dakota | And I would respectfully disagree with your comment about "profitable" prevent plant in "non corn" areas.
1. PP plant is only profitable when you have high aphs- which non corn areas don't have.
2. PP is not a choice the farmer makes. You dont do it just because you want to or are lazy. The whole area must be truly wet and all your neighbors must be PP also.
3. Regarding farmers not spending money for tile. Are you aware you cant tile wetlands? And if it's a wetland it probably has a low aph anyway.
4. If you want to raise wheat and edible beans, have it if its profitable for you. The Dakotas raise corn because its profitable and its completely legal.
5. Best of all, Dakotans wont rag on you if you "ruin the wheat/bean market." | |
