E.Central MN | I heard that there are people working on a project in Wis to produce jet fuel from wood chips because the future of wood products (like paper) isn't looking very good. I thought the money for those "green" initiatives (like the similar program using soybeans to make jet fuel) had been cut back by the govt. I did see one positive for forestry products when I drove to Wis two days ago, a lot of electric transmission upgrades are going on and they are using lots of wood mats to keep the cranes/construction equipment from sinking into the mud. When I fueled up for the road trip, E10 was $3.45/ E15 was $3.14 at a local Kwik Trip in central MN. I filled with E15. | |
