Ne. Panhandle | I honestly can't remember the last time it rained around here. Had maybe a total of 6" of dry snow all winter.
It is as dry as most anybody has ever seen it. Some wells around here but most folks rely on surface water snow melt from the mountains to the west/southwest of here.
Mountains are dry as well. Record low snow pack. Reservoirs are at record lows as well.
We will be lucky to see any ditch water this season.
If things don't turn fast, it's going to get real interesting.
