I’ll certainly take straw over cornstalks everyday of the week.
Granted it’s rye straw out of a walker machine but it lasts longer then stalks and I use less of it. Takes 2-3 stalk bales to bed the same area as one straw bale. My processor has two rotors so it’s pulverized when gets shredded
