If the Iranians ever needed a nuke, they need one now to protect them against us. There was a whole lot of other countries that have nukes that we know of that have tested them in full display of the world. Like North Korea, are they not a threat?
If the Iranians had new capability, it took 10 days to build a nuke then why didn’t they use it?
