Southeast Colorado
Getting tough again. There was .75" in that snow............and it has definitely bought some time. Brown mites and wire worms have gotten in all the wheat and needed sprayed.

All of our fallow and stalks is in poor shape. Soil probe goes in a foot maybe. We need water stored to grow the upcoming row crops most years. Just in time rainfall isn't enough. So I'm pretty pessimistic about this year's chances.

Like you mentioned in a previous thread.............I'm almost to the point of hoping it stays dry enough to put everything in Prevent Plant. Worse thing will be getting an inch of rain in April or May and having to plant..........with zero sub moisture. Now if we pick up 4 or 5" in the next 60 days I'll get a little more optimistic. But for now............I'm happy with my decision to plant very little wheat last fall.
