ECIL/WCIN | Planted some cereal rye on Nov 16 last fall in the sweet corn patches. It looks beautiful and I am considering altering the sweet corn plan and letting the rye grow and bale it. At what point in its life is best to mow it and wet bale it for cow feed? And approximately when will that date be on the calendar assuming we have normal spring weather from here on out? | |
