Ne Colorado | We have this same issue with bald eagles. They eat the after birth but they also have a taste for lamb! I hate those darn birds. The golden eagles aren’t as bad. You can throw rocks at the bald eagles but that’s about it. And you have to be careful who sees you doing it. Or the sheriff will be out. We have problems with them swooping down, picking up lambs and then going up about 200 feet and dropping them. Do turkey vultures stay in more wooded areas? Iv not seen one on the plains?! | |
