SW OH
I made guillotine drop gates for my portable system. They are a little heavy, slow, and cumbersome, but nothing is going through them in either direction. I have a preifert that chains on top of the alley with a single pipe loop that I've never used. My bother built one inside the barn that hinges on the side. It's in a permanent alley and is wider than the alley so it can't swing through. It works well and the next animal can push it open.
