My wife put it in a 2002 Buick Regal once (by accident) and it ran like crap until it got blended down to under 50%.
It didn't cause any damage but to someone that didn't know anything other than they put cheap "ethanol" in their car, it would probably do permanent damage as far as ever selling ethanol to that person again.
