| Phostoxin should work. But my understanding is that prairie dog holes are more interconnected than ground squirrel dens are. So you may have to cover most holes before putting the phostox in the open holes. But phostox is a high amount of labor.
The anti-coagulants available here California for ground squirrels works well in our dry season. The vitamin K in green grass takes it's effectiveness away.
In organic crops propane and O2 and lite has been used. Another is a small one cylinder engine with fan and flex tube to blow exhaust down into dens. Again holes need to be covered so large amount of labor needed again. Both of these were sold as working units. I cannot remember which but one company moved to Idaho. | |
