Southeast Colorado | Last week someone came down the highway by our place and had a small tip trailer that wasn't latched. It kept bouncing off the pavement and lit 7 fires over about a 10 mile stretch. Fortunately none of them got too out of hand. Me and another guy were the first to come up on them and get the fire dept called...........then ran to the tractors. Probably only 50 acres burned total. It could've been quite a bit worse. | |
