Any row clutch will be engaged by default without a closed circuit on the two wires. Some clutches have constant power and switch the ground side to close the circuit while others have constant ground and switch the power. Figure out how your clutches are controlled and then wire in your smart boxes in parallel. Do not wire in series as that will affect the voltage at the smart box.
