We have a local water co-op. Our average monthly rate is about $50 to $60 for three of us.
Our co-op board has put in a lot of free time to keep rates reasonable. Some might think they are too frugal - not everyone has water yet. They put in the main lines and are funding expansion with operating margin. We waited several years for our branch and I’m ok with that.
Do we want rural water?
