Weddings have become SO expensive and they charge by the head count. I think this is a big reason for the no kids. Yes there are the selfish people that don't want kids running around, but I think the no kids request is mainly about getting the most for the $s spent.
I've been to too many weddings in the last 10 years that had to have been north of $50,000. Stupid yes, but what isn't stupid expensive? $80,000+ pickups?
