| They wanted me to rake it first. bone dry rock hard crust now.
They said water3 - 5 times a day. What they dont know is this strange hard as a rock soil never puddles even if I water 10 hours straight. Its the puddles so seed doesnt swim. The backyard is really bare in spots. It was past dry last fall when i dug 3’ post holes for the new fence,,, and its alot worse now.
They want organic material in this topsoil to hold a bit of moisture.
And I am in a walking boot, supposed to be off my feet so to avoid the surgeon for my bad feet. | |

What spreader to use
