You say "maybe we're just lucky.!!" I don't think so - relationships with dealers depends also on how they perceive you, and a reputation for being fair to all you deal with is something earned - and definitely not to be abused. The reputation of being a fair dealer is carried on over one generation and into another, just as being a "pain in the ....s" is also. I consider it an honour to be well regarded by the businesses I have dealt with over my 50+ years of farming. I know that any fair request will be dealt with in the best possible manner. I just noticed the word "trust". Absolutely! If those you deal with can look you in the eye as they deal with you, that is worth immeasurable value, in my eyes.
