East Central SD | I received two letters of security incident and/or "privacy events" in the past few weeks, one of which was from Brandt Equities. It seems everyone - businesses, health care, financial, government, etc., etc., want everything done through electronic accounts with ALL of our private information, but they can't keep them from getting hacked. Over the past few years I've lost track of how many times I've received letters warning of a security breech, offering one year of free monitoring for fraud and identity theft. Like some of you, I question if it's legit or from scammers. | |
