Wait till you get invited to a destination wedding, knew a couple from the area both family’s from the area all friends from area went to local church, couldn’t do the wedding in home town had to go to a town 300 miles away so everyone can pay hotel stay. One cousin got married in Mexico didn’t want any gifts, they liked to travel literally asked for money for the honeymoon. Long story short did not go to wedding, and as far as honeymoon you can pay your own way.
