You can get cows to follow a bucket, at least HERE. A neighbor recently told me he got his to follow him almost 3/4 mile, with a 1/2 filled bucket. I can just rattle the handle on a metal bucket and mt cows will come a running.
How to build, IDK, but a bud box is on my wish list.
