Yeah the adults only more or less really is a marketing ploy and in no way states no kids allowed. Idk, sounds like you experienced something that you probably weren't promised in any way. Take it as a lesson learned and maybe call the cruise line and inquire about it. Maybe they will give you a credit for the next one.
