Northeastern Pa. | I've moved on 2x in the last two years and never did that since I started farming in the 80's. One was an equipment dealer that took place of our former one. The other time was 2 weeks ago with a UAN dealer that bought out our former dealer. They gave me a price on Tuesday then called Thursday and said they couldn't honor the price and didn't know what the new price was yet and didn't know if they could even get the fertilizer. Then called last week and all of a sudden had a price and UAN magically appeared. I told them I bought the tanker loads off another company. When I quote a price on hay, seed or anything that's the price period. If my costs change before delivery, I eat it. | |
