NC KS | Out here, the gas company would have located the leak for free. They used to contribute a little plumbing help also. Sometimes, they slide the yellow stuff inside of the steel pipe.
If you call them and say you think you have a leak, they are faster than an ambulance to get your gas shutoff and usually lock it off until leak is repaired and you pass a leak down test. Not a big deal for average home owner but when you have several hundred feet of pipe going to multiple buildings and bins, passing the leak down test can be difficult. | |
