Call the fouls that should be called, make the players clean up their game.
What currently passes as being “good physical basketball” is almost unwatchable to anyone that actually knows what basketball is supposed to be.
The amount of moving screens, hand checking and arm grabbing that goes uncalled is way past the point of being ridiculous. And it continues to get worse every year because the players keep testing the boundaries of what will or won’t get called.
