NE Iowa | I went with a 12v dc cyclops brand fencer as well. Actually bought an ac version first, but bought the dc changeover kit after the cyclops rep talked me out of running an inverter because of the cost and issues with the inverter itself. Been happy with the setup so far 2.5J fencer, 12v deep cycle battery, charge controller, 100w panel. Built a wheeled frame and adjustable solar panel frame (summer and winter angles) out of old hog gates.
