Latimer Iowa
We are currently on budget and on schedule for a Mid August commissioning. As I dial in contingencies and construction continues we have started to add a few nice to haves as the budget allows. Asphalt driveways (270k), coved epoxy floors(173k), additional storage (1.9M). Adding items is looking like it will push the timeline by about 2 weeks.

We have 2/3 of the 4M bushels needed annually contracted with our farmer investors for 2026 crop. I am not looking to book any additional oats at this time as there will be a ramp up procedure, sales ramp up, etc. Our growers will also be growing 10-15% extra bushels if production is average. We do have offtake agreements in place for our milled products, its just getting everything going on time. Quality specs are similar to other food grade facilities. We can take lighter test weight oats from a farmer investor, provided they did practices (variety, fertilizer, planting method, date) to grow high test weight oats, then just adjust the price to reflect milling efficiency and groat yield. The existing mills dock much harder then needed, their most profitable oats to process are the ones they buy at steep discounts......

The goal of the project is to reward the farmer investors with the profitability of the mill so they are getting $6.50 per bushel for an average annual price for 3 years. This will allow us to service obligations and reward the farmer for moving beyond commodity production and advance to the middle of the supply chain. Transportation logistics of having the farmer deliver direct to the mill reduces many of the costs associated with processing crops from a 1000 miles away. The laid in price for a brand buying oat flakes can actually be lower as we are also much closer to their domestic supply chain the mills in Canada.
