North Dakota | About 25 years ago I was working in my shop and a thunderstorm brewed up. Started pouring rain and my walk in door was open. About 3’ from the door is a metal miracle span qounset. I reached for the door handle to close it and saw the lightening flash hit the qounset.
I closed my eyes but could see the blood vessels in my eyelids as well as the qounset through my eyelids. It blew me back into the shop about 10’ feet. Thank goodness there wasn’t farm equipment behind me. Since then I have an extreme respect for lightening and what it can do. | |
