| If you decide to go GPS instead of your present system, I have been using Tractive for the Land Shark for several months now with good results.
There IS a subscription of something around $10 a month.
I haven't played around much with the virtual fence feature yet, I use it to keep track of her in real time if she disappears and it works very well. I can also see where she has gone in the past.
Her battery lasts almost two weeks before a recharge and the app tells me where her battery is at. It just takes a few hours to charge it. It has a light and sound feature that I can trigger to find her at night if she's being "troublesome" and hard to find.
I DO have wifi in the yard where she stays 90% of the time and the collar stays in a low power mode when she has wifi to her collar.
It's been better than I thought.
