You may need to go to the courthouse in county of birth.

Maybe 10-12 yrs ago, my mom's sister who was born in '33 had to travel from her home in the cities to her birth county to get a birth certificate. But, last year I wanted to get ones for my parents who were also born in that county in the 30s. I was told the state had them on file so did not need to go to that specific court house.

Maybe 10yrs ago they didn't have all of them in their computer but now they do??
