Electric kilowatt meters are very accurate, but they can (rarely) fail. If you see wild swings, or totally unreasonable usage, it might be time to consult an ELECTRICIAN. Maybe you have an electric problem and not a bad meter.
That’s what I’m thinking. Could have an issue with something causing a big draw.
