You wouldn’t have a teacher left if you made them make up days on Saturday’s and after normal school year. Would not be fair to them one bit. Keeping teachers is hard enough as it is.


I know that some teachers would not be in favor of extra hours, but I know of others that welcome extra paid time.

I think the problem would be finding the money to pay the ones that want the extra time. Something would have to be cut from the budget and allocated towards a program like this.

But I think it has some merit in improving the overall education of the students. Obviously it would be better to find out why these students are missing so many days and make the correction there.
