I'm doing my hotshot loads with a gas one ton currently, definitely makes a guy feel a little better saving at least $1 a gallon...

09 Silverado C3500 6.0L 6L90. Y'all won't believe this but I'd rather be in my 95 6.5 5 speed. Lol
Maybe if the 6L90 shucks I'll get clutch parts for a Mexican market 09 and buy a Tremec TR4050...

The 97 C3500 RCLB 7.4L 5 speed 2wd just got moved to the next project slot on the to do list over all the diesels. Needs the transmission and rear end rebuilt, honestly probably the engine too but I'll see if I breathe a little life in it. I'll see if the ol spirit of Tonawanda can go toe to toe with the LS on fuel economy.

If anyone sees a 8.1 manual transmission 2wd rust free for a decent price I might be a player, only requirement is cruise and A/C, manual and 2wd. Otherwise I don't mind rubber floors and hand cranks.
