NC Iowa | A lot of the problems at USPS come down to staffing. If your local plant and your local mail delivery office are reasonably staffed you likely won't experience many problems outside something weather related.
Problem is job is not attractive as it once was and it's very easy to get into a death loop of: Not enough staff so people are forced to work longer days and not get days off > people then either quit or call in sick because they're done with being dumped on making the problem worse > any new staff hired are now thrown into a tough situation where they get undertrained and overworked so they don't stick around.
