There are fuel discount apps for diesel.

Mudflap and Open Roads are a couple. Sometimes their discounts are pretty good, other times my credit card with a 3% discount on fuel is better.


Openroads was barely $4 yesterday, but that would be La Crosse and Prairie du Chein. Maybe if Jim goes to PdC then he'd get off road, or maybe the Openroads price would be less than off road?

In any case, Openroads takes the "froth" out of fuel prices. Big savings now, little savings when fuel was cheap a few months ago, but if the stations you use have it, then it's an easy tool to not have to watch day to day as much. Greenlane is another one that I don't know much about, but very accessible to a small farmer, livestock hauler, or just a diesel pickup driver.
