Dad called those a “silage fork.” Because that’s what we used them for. There was a couple of winters where we had only one silage pile so we would load some onto a flat bed wagon and haul to another pasture to feed the cows there. Not my favorite job when I was 10, it was drizzling a cold rain, and the tractor was a JD 520 gas.
