Subject: RE: Diesel fuel and the independent or small company trucker

WCMO-SWMO Area
In 2008 I was out at Salina,Kansas filling up my diesel pickup at a truck stop..There were two of us waiting to pay and the lady asked which one of you guys just bought $1,276.00 worth of diesel fuel..I yelled its not me, mines only $175.00..The guy with the big fuel bill was a bull hauler from Benkleman,Nebraska...He said he could carry 300 gallons...The clerk said you guys both deserve a free 64 ounce coke and we each got one.

People seem to forget about 2008 and 2022 when fuel was just as high.
