IA/MN/WI | The only reason people use it is because its "cheap". I was approached by them 5 years ago to try boost. I liked the idea, I have replicated data on 17 farms from 2021 and guess what? Zero yield difference with it in furrow, even a few negatives, even V5 tissue tests showed zero difference.
How about instead of using overpriced molasses to "buffer" ****ty quality starter we just use a better starter?
Does it work to stabilizer UAN? Sure, it has organic acid in it to bind with ammonium. But I can buy high quality Brandt 12% Humic(no they aren't all the same, pay for a highly active formulation) for way less per gallon than Boost to use with UAN. | |
