This isn’t really relevant to the question, but my Deere 8970 had field cruise in 1996, it ran the throttle on the 855 cummins, but 3 years ago that computer took a dump and we converted it back to a mechanic throttle linkage like an 8960. The field cruise worked great, just set it at 1850rpm and go.
