back in 2013 our area had very wet spring ,,,,called elevator for fertilizer ,,they said it would be 3 days ...they were getting behind with the weather.......so ,instead of doing nothing i hooked up the bean planter ,,,i no till since the 90,s....well being in a small gossipy town it didnt take much to hear that i was stupid for planting beans early......they turned out just fine,,,no comparison ,,because got them all planted in 3 days and then got my corn fert........now people tell me to plant beans first ....i still do corn if first if i not waiting on fert...beans have an april 15 to may 15 window for optimal yields
