Definitely pot will pull harder in the wind than a hopper. I don't pull my pot very far or very much with a C13 and 10 speed, never 80000 lbs and get along fine but if I was hauling longer or more often would want more. To be honest when I go over the coteau hills wouldn't mind more ponies for my hopper.
