Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
Airplanes apply at what speed? :)
I know a couple guys that apply at 18 mph over terraces.
If you’re spraying with a 20 mph wind, it’s like your spraying standing still on a calm day. Going the other way your spraying the equivalent of 40 mph. Still half the speed of a plane.
If you have good ground conditions I don’t know why you wouldn’t. We have very few fields we can do that on. When we can I have sprayed at 15mph. Like you say, a guy can get a lot done.
