Subject: RE: Early beans

Ludington/Manistee MI area

I plant both mine and my uncle’s beans
Uncle plants both his corn and mine,

HE’S A MAJOR PROCRASTINATOR so I’m typically ready to roll first so by default I start planting first.   Honestly don’t see a huge difference between early planted beans and later planted beans.  I’d much rather see corn in first to get the GDU’s too save on drying and gain test weight. If one planter needs parked to get ground worked ahead of planter the bean planter gets parked.  IMO lack of deer pressure and timely rains are bigger variables.
