Central iowa | Tractor model may help as well.. on 8000 on up john deeres i have seen disbre get around the tractor hydraulic couplers and not let it completely lock in hose.. I wash out with brake clean and blow out around coupler. As others has stated make sure hoses are plugged in correct locations or can cause your issue as well.
Edit - also a worn hydraulic coupler on either side can cause same issue
