SW Ohio | Looking for opinions on the little Massey tractors. I am looking for a little tractor to use around the yard and garden, I want something my wife and kids can easily use as well. Mostly it would be used for cleaning the kids sheep and goat stalls, tilling the garden and maybe mowing the grass (I have a Scag zero turn but my 13y/o says she would mow more with a regular tractor style mower so I'll see about that).
Do the Massey ones seem to hold up well? Are the subcompact ones too small to be useful or would they handle a 5ft finish mower, 4ft tiller and the like?
Considering the Massey 1GC.23/25 in the subcompact range or the 1E.25 if I go a little bigger. The bigger one is about $7500 more.
I want something the wife and daughters will be comfortable with so I was leaning towards the smaller one for them.
I am looking at Massey based on dealer support, Mayer is my dealer of choice, they have been helpful with the old 6145 White I have. My parts and service experience for the other main brands in my area have not been great so I was looking at Agco mostly.
Briefly looked at a Kioti the other day but know nothing about that brand.
