Manitoba | Our 2100 has 90’ booms. Currently have them off and apart doing some bracing and welding up any potential weak points. Wanted to replace the pins at the breakaway point 2/3 of the way down (hagie part 160351). Its a 5/8” round pin 11.5” length. What type of steel would be used for this type of pin? Would plain Mild roundbar work? Or should i target something harder?
Thought someone on here would probably know.
