Very southern Mn
Every Sqaure cone I have been around will build up dust and generally any moisture runs down till it hits a seam and can create material buildup or sticking. But those are pits that are used more seasonally and we generally have a a lot of moisture between rain , snow, fog and drizzle. . If you are dumping everyday and have a air supply to blow out you would probably be fine. In the fall when we are constantly dumping, pit stays pretty clean but you have a good point. Must be a real challenge to get every part of system to completely clean out between loads.
