Using a residual herbicide in onions. What effect will it have on future crops?

Prowl is labeled to use on beans. I think I would not be concerned about that one.  Carrots, and other direct-seeded crops..... I'm not so sure they will be safe or affected.  Barley and wheat can be planted 4 months after Prowl application.  That is a piece of information I would consider.  However, carrots are a much smaller seed, and I could see them affected.
