CASE, Deere, Microsoft, Apple, Linux, etc., have always had software and/or firmware updates....I can't say if your ISO timeline is valid or not. But in that Ag Leader document, they gave the firmware version being tested.
FWIW - Deere and CASE were on AEF's Steering Committee in 2008
